Who are we looking for?
We are looking to recruit graduates to begin training in primary schools across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Cheshire and Derbyshire.
BTSA has a strong equality and diversity ethos and therefore seeks to admit a diverse range of Postgraduate School Direct trainees in terms of gender, ethnicity, age, social background, sexuality, learning differences and special needs. BTSA actively welcomes and supports applications from black and ethnic minority candidates.
BTSA seeks to admit to its courses those applicants who by virtue of their interests, abilities, knowledge, experience and motivation will be best suited to realise their full academic and professional potential by benefiting from the educational provision of BTSA and its ITT provider, the University of Derby.
The admission of each student is based on a reasonable expectation that the applicant will be able to achieve the aims and outcomes of the PGCE Primary School Direct course and the standard required to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
